TO OUR DEAREST INNERACTIVISTS, In cooperation with efforts to slow the spread and prepare for care, InnerActive will remain closed through Friday, May 1st.
Thank you to all of those who have reached out with support and concern, this is an unknown time for all of us, and your words have helped to lift us up! We extend our most heartfelt wish that you also stay well, healthy and safe. We look forward to playing with you all soon!
OUR PLAYGROUND'S ROLE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT MORE THAN JUST A PLACE TO PLAY. BEING AT INNERACTIVE IS ABOUT ENRICHING THE LIVES OF OUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS, BIG BROTHERS AND LITTLE SISTERS. OUR HOSPITALITY IS MORE THAN JUST A MESSAGE SAYING WE’RE TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY WITH EMPTY MESSAGES ABOUT CHANGES.
THROUGHOUT OUR 4 YEARS IN THIS COMMUNITY, YOU'VE TRUSTED US TO KEEP THE PINNACLE OF CLEANLINESS, SAFETY AND SANITATION AT OUR PARKS, AND IN THE COMING WEEKS AND MONTHS WE'RE GOING TO FIGHT FOR THIS COMMUNITY BY PUTTING YOUR WELL BEING FIRST, AS WE HAVE BEEN SINCE OUR INCEPTION.
WITH THIS AS OUR PRINCIPLE, AND IN RESPONSE TO THE MOST CURRENT CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION AT HAND WE WANTED TO GIVE YOU AN UPDATE ON HOW WE'RE STAYING AHEAD OF THE CURVE AT INNERACTIVE.
SURELY YOU HAVE ALL BEEN FOLLOWING THE NEWS ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS, ALSO KNOWN AS COVID-19. INNERACTIVE CONSIDERS YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY AS OUR ABSOLUTE TOP PRIORITY, AND WANTED TO SHARE A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT WE ALL CAN DO TO KEEP OUR FAMILIES SAFE.
WE ARE CLOSELY FOLLOWING THE DIRECTION OF THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL AS WELL AS THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO DIRECT OUR DECISIONS REGARDING THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF OUR PLAYGROUNDS. AS OF MARCH 17TH, WE WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL MARCH 27TH AS MANDATED BY OUR GOVERNOR.
TO STAY HEALTHY, THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IS RECOMMENDING COMMON SENSE PRECAUTIONS SUCH AS: · AVOID CLOSE CONTACT WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE SICK. IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, AVOID TOUCHING YOUR EYES, NOSE AND MOUTH. · STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK, AND FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER YOU ARE FEVER FREE. · COVER YOUR COUGH OR SNEEZE WITH A TISSUE. · CLEAN AND DISINFECT FREQUENTLY TOUCHED OBJECTS AND SURFACES. · WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN WITH SOAP AND WATER FOR AT LEAST 20 SECONDS. (IF SOAP AND WATER ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE, USE AN ALCOHOL-BASED HAND SANITIZER WITH AT LEAST 60% ALCOHOL.)
AT INNERACTIVE, THE HEAVY ACTION REQUIRED TO STAY HEALTHY DURING THIS CRISIS WAS ALREADY A CORE COMPETENCY OF OUR STAFF AND FACILITIES. WE HAVE OFFERED SELF-SANITIZATION VIA WIPES AND DISPENSERS SINCE THE DAY WE OPENED. WE HAVE UTILIZED HOSPITAL GRADE SANITIZATION AND DISINFECTING TOOLS SINCE OUR FIRST DAY OPEN, AND ARE CONFIDENT THAT WE CAN PROVIDE THE SAFEST POSSIBLE PRECAUTIONS FOR ANY SPACE CATERED TO CHILDREN. BEYOND THIS, OUR DAILY CLEANING HELPERS HAVE INCREASED THE FREQUENCY ANDENHANCED THEIR DISINFECTION PROCEDURES ON COMMUNAL SURFACES LIKE DOOR HANDLES, BATHROOM FIXTURES, DRINKING FOUNTAINS, SINKS AND TABLES. JUST TODAY WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE WE’VE HIRED A DEDICATED DISINFECTION WORKER WHO IS SPECIFICALLY TARGETING THE HIGHEST USE AREAS AND SURFACES WITHIN OUR PARKS WITH OUR INDUSTRIAL DISINFECTION METHODS.
IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE LEVEL OF PREVENTION WE ALSO ENABLE ALL OF OUR GUESTS TO SANITIZE IMMEDIATELY FOR THEIR SPECIFIC NEEDS. WITH MULTIPLE HAND SANITIZATION STATIONS AS WELL AS WIPE STATIONS, YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO SANITIZE ANY EQUIPMENT YOU'D LIKE! FEEL FREE TO USE THE PROVIDED WIPES ON YOUR TABLES PRIOR TO USE, ON AN AREA OF EQUIPMENT, OR USE ON A BALL IN THE PLAY FIELDS, WHEREVER YOU FEEL WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR YOURSELF. WHILE OUR MULTIPLE SANITIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE DAY ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH TO COVER THE CDC'S COMPLEX REQUIREMENTS FOR SAFETY, THE ABILITY TO SELF-SANITIZE IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO USE IS THE BEST METHOD WE CAN RECOMMEND.
WE ARE CLOSELY MONITORING ALL UPDATES FROM THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (MDH), HENNEPIN COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH AND THE CENTER FOR DISEASE AND PREVENTION TO TRACK INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19. MDH IS CURRENTLY MONITORING THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS AND TRACKING ITS TRAVEL. THEY WILL NOTIFY SCHOOLS AND BUSINESSES IF THERE IS A CONCERN THAT REQUIRES US TO FOLLOW A SPECIFIC PROTOCOL OR TO PUT ANY KIND OF RESPONSE PLAN IN PLACE.
YOU CAN LEARN MORE INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19 AND ITS STATUS IN MINNESOTA ON THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WEBSITE. MDH HAS SET UP A HOTLINE AT 651-201-5414 TO ANSWER GENERAL QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS.
WE HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS YOU TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN BRINGING YOUR CHILDREN TO INNERACTIVE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO DO ALL WE CAN TO PROVIDE THE SAFEST ENVIRONMENT POSSIBLE FOR YOUR FAMILY TO PLAY. THANK YOU FOR READING, AND PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO REACH OUT IF THERE IS ANYTHING MORE WE CAN CLARIFY AS IT PERTAINS TO OUR METHODS.
TEMPORARY PARTY CANCELLATION POLICY: We will provide a 1-time rescheduling option with no additional fees. You may apply your fee to any available date or time within SIX months of your cancellation request. You do not need to set your new date immediately. Please complete our form to reschedule.
Of course there are many questions from you surrounding your scheduled events, and we want to let you know what we are doing today to help stem the losses to our business so we can survive the high costs of our facilities long enough to re-open when the proper authorities support that decision. We will provide a 1-time rescheduling option with no additional fees. You may apply your reservation fee to any available date or time within SIX months of your request. You do not need to set your new date immediately. We understand this is not the ideal situation for everybody involved but everyday is bringing new and different challenges, and we are doing everything we can.
When you are prepared to reschedule, you can schedule your event to occur anytime in the next 6 months, At least 72 hours notice is needed for us to schedule your event, but you are welcome to schedule as early as you are comfortable for the best selection of openings! We will allow 1 change per reservation so please ensure you select a day/time that works for you. Due to the large number of rescheduling requests and the very small staff (just me!) I have created a short form to receive your requests. I will not be able to confirm requests sent by email, but will direct you to this form. This will keep everything in one place and will ensure requests are completed in the order we receive them. I greatly appreciate your help with this! When you are prepared to reschedule please visit: https://www.inneractiveplayground.com/Reschedule-Event.html
Teddy and I greatly appreciate your willingness to work with us on a solution that allows flexibility for parties. As a small locally owned business, we have done all we can to provide similar options as larger hospitality organizations while continuing to provide the safest and cleanest playground possible for families that need a place to play after this trying time.
